 Best litter box ever used December 27, 2008
Love it. No more litter kicked out all around the litter box. The last litter box I had gotten had the cover over it and I thought that would help the problem with the litter getting outside the box, but I was still cleaning up litter all the time. With this Tidy Cat litter system there is no problem with this due to the larger pellets. There is no more messing with large clumps of smelly urine from clumping litter. The pad controls the urine smell. Rarely do the pellets stick to the poo so I just scoop the poo and the pellets fall through the holes in the scooper that comes with the litter box and I then I can toss the poo in the toilet. So much cleaner and neater. No more clumping litter for this household.
Works Well for MY cats December 11, 2008
I have a diabetic cat who urinates quite frequently. Over the humid summer, his litter box became too pungent and we needed to make some changes. The pads do a great job absorbing the urine and the smell. Neither of my two cats like it for defecation, but I have another box nearby for that. This box really improved the urine smell in our house. Another bonus, if I need a urine sample to check his glucose, I can remove the pad.

I bought one of these on a whim, and was so surprised at how AWESOME it is! My 4 cats transitioned well, and I will be buying one more this week. The biggest advantage is not having to scoop the messy, stinky clumping litter. The solid waste sits neatly on top of the pellets, and is easily scooped with the scooper included. The pellets are only supposed to last one month, but it's been about 6 weeks, and there is still no need to replace them! The pee is contained in the pad in a compartment, and there is virtually NO odor whatsoever! Highly recommended!!!

I am a huge fan of the Breeze system and so are my cats. I have two large cats (both around 15 lbs) and they took to the system right away. I hated their old litter box with urine clumps, smell, dust and litter everywhere-my allergies are so much better since switching to this system. br /br /The pellets are hard and the pee soaks right into the pad and it's very easy to change. Just take the tray out and let the pee pad slide into the trash. I change the pellets once a month and the poop is easy to scoop. Before it was a huge chore maintaining their box, but now it really is a Breeze!

It is a little sad I'm giving this product a bad review, especially considering that they sent it to me for free due to a marketing strategy from their web site. My wife and I have been using the litter system for our single small cat for about 5 months. Odor control has been a problem, but I was not to unhappy with it until our latest problem.br /br /I was changing the pad out (usually do it weekly), and when I opened the drawer at the bottom, it appeared dry! I did not really understand the situation, so I pulled the drawer out more to examine further. At that point, it was tilted a little bit, and a LOT of pee went all over our carpet. Apparently the pad was crumpled in half when the pad was inserted, and then straightened out over the pee when the drawer was pulled out a week later. br /br /Frankly I was thinking of replacing it because I was tired of scooping poop on a daily basis, but after the PEE episode, I think the time for replacement has come earlier than expected. :-)br /br /- Brian
