Product Description Proven to end urine marking and scratching safely naturally. Feliway has some of the properties of feline facial pheromones. Pheromones are chemical substances secreted by animals to confirm their territory, to communicate with others familiarize themselves with their environment. Facial pheromones will inhibit urinary markings when applied to an area. Feliway may be used to stop or prevent urinary marking by cats. Also useful in comforting a cat in an unknown or stressful environment (cage, car, boarding, new house). Will not stain or mark. After using Feliway for 30 days, 59 of 61 cats stopped marking completely.

results of my expectations... July 30, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this spray along with the plug-in to address my cat's anxiety, (particularly separation anxiety), and some behavioral issues. Since beginning to use the products, along with some "calm" treats, her behavior has improved by about 85% which tells me her anxiety level has dropped considerably. I would recommend this product, but I have no idea what the results would be if the spray is used exclusively.
Didn't work May 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I tried using the spray as well as 2 bottles Plug ins. They were expensive, but since I recently moved, I was hoping it will help alleviate some problems. My cat still meows like crazy and urinated everywhere(he's neutured). I tried for 3 weeks and gave up. It seems like it works for some cats and doesn't on others. I'm the unlucky one I guess
Feliway Spray December 29, 2007 My cat just recently started spraying in the house after 7 years and this product really does help deter him from spraying areas that he had previously sprayed. Just wish it was so costly and that it came in a larger size can!
Like MAGIC! October 29, 2007 Our neutered male cat started scratching the designer couches when he was alone with his "daddy" in the room, specifically to take the attention off the ball games on TV... only after thousands of dollars in damage over several weeks did the Feliway diffuser arrive and help to alter the attitude and negative behavior of the kitty.br /br /If I forget to check the liquid level in the diffuser, it only takes an afternoon of frisky "bad kitty" behavior to remind me to replace the diffuser with a new one. If we leave for a trip or take him with us on holiday, we plug in a second diffuser at opposite ends of the house or next to his kitty condo. Needless to say, the pheromones in the diffuser, combined with some proactive behavior management techniques, have saved the rest of the living quarters and our marriage from unneeded stress and irreparable damage.
Maybe it depends on the cat... March 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I adopted a feral cat who was easily frightened and skittish all the time. I bought this spray and the diffuser and was very disappointed to find that neither one worked. His behavior hasn't changed at all...he is still as anxious as before. Maybe some cats just don't react to the "facial pheromones" found in Feliway. I think this product is a hit or miss!
