Solved my dogs sore leg problems November 25, 2008
We had noticed a tenderness in our Belgian Shepard Dutchess paws and legs and I had heard about Excel Flare Away from someone on my newsgroup. Figured I would give it a try and after about a week or two I found it did help and our dog and she now jumps again and runs like a puppy. Try it at a low amount and work up until you reach the amount prescribed. Ours weighed 65 lbs and said 3 tabs per day but we started with one a day and it worked for 3 months we have had to increase it to 2. It is worth a try and our dog seems like she does not hurt anymore. Plus she eats the pill like it is a treat. We will continue to buy this product.
Helps relieve age-related pain and stiffness. August 3, 2008
We are giving this product to our 11 year old Aussie Shepard and it seems to have helped with relieving some of his age-related pain and stiffness which restored his puppy-like additude. Our son has even noticed that he acts more "peppy" than before as he can jump right up from a laying position without hesitation. He disliked the flavor and spit them out so we conceal them in a slice of bread that was spread with some peanut butter and he doesn't notice. Fran E

My 10 year old, 90-lb dog was barely able to walk and had stopped eating. Within a day of giving her these she started eating and by the second day she was begging to go for a walk again! It worked so well I went to the human vitamin store to see if I could find a supplement for me that had the same ingredients!! I highly recommend this product.

My dog has been slow and has trouble going up and down steps. He's 15 years old and has Arthritis. I also give him Glucosamine but have never really notice a difference using it. I started him on Flare-away about 2 weeks ago and noticed a difference the next day. He is not slow in the mornings anymore. He doesn't sleep as much and is more playful. He doesn't have as much trouble with walking up and down steps now. It's been a very noticable and distinct difference since I started giving him these Flare-away tabs. He eats them out of my hand but I can tell he doesn't particulalry consider them a treat. That is, he eats the Glucosamine tabs that I buy like they are candy but these Flare-away tabs he relunctantly eats so they must not taste the best to him but they sure do work well.
